Reflection on Annunciation of the Lord

"This will was for us to be made holy by the offering of His body made once and for all by Jesus Christ." (Hebrews 10:10) "[Mary] was greatly troubled at what was said and pondered what sort of greeting this might be" (Luke 1:29)
"The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you." (Luke 1:35) "For nothing will be impossible for God." (Luke 1:37)

- It made me think what God's will for me is to be. I have found my purpose which is to seek God and love Him with all my heart, mind and strength. When Mama Mary first received Her calling, She felt great anxiety and fear but She reflected on what it meant to Her. I too felt troubled because I was not sure whether I was right in my discernment of my future calling for my vocation. But I felt great comfort and inspired to the large extend when I read that Holy Spirit would guide and show me the will of God. Because nothing is impossible with God, I believe He would help me in my time of needs. When I reflected on my life, like Father Raul C. de los Santos (365 Days with the Lord 2011 diary) I saw that God used my trials and difficulties to draw me to Him and follow His guide. I'm very grateful to God for helping me to discern my present calling to the Catholic Church. Mama Mary, teach me how to put all my trust in God and His will for me. Thank you, Mama Mary. Amen.
