Reflection on social circle

I am witnessing my social circle shrinking from time to time. This is the reality of human life. Yet through this difficult process, I count myself blessed to have some (or rather many) good friends who still journey with me in the love of God. I may not be able to speak well but if my thought were to be able to speak, I have so many things to say to you like the grains of sands in the beach.

A gentle reminder of St Elizabeth Ann Seton's quote: "The accidents of life separate us from our dearest friends, but let us not despair. God is like a looking glass in which souls see each other. The more we are united to Him by love, the nearer we are to those who belong to Him."
